I take it everyone caught the latest gaffe in PC Week,
the Feb. 9 issue, page 6.  The article (which started
on page 1) states:

"This new chip is designed to perform vector
calculations--calculations that determine the
direction and distance of one point from another."

Sounds pretty authoritative to me....
