Lines: 23 Keywords: LaserJet, line printer I am trying to use an HP LaserJet (the original, not the Plus or the -II) as a replacement for a line printer. I have lots of large files that are nothing more than lines, no form-feeds. These files are expected to be printed on a real line printer with 66 lines per page. So every 60 lines or so, there are a couple of blank lines. These files print just fine on a real line printer, but I have not been able to set the LaserJet up to emulate a printer with 66 lines per-page. I have the proper font cartridge, and here is the setup sequence I sent to the printer (? is an ESC): ?(s0ps16.67hs8.5vs0ss0T?&l1ol1el6.1867C The problem is that with a vertical motion of 6.1867, the lines would slowly move down the page so that after 10 pages or so, I'd lose a line on the bottom. If I use a value of 6.1866, then the lines would creep up on the page. Since only 4 decimal digits are allowed, I see no other way to control this. I'd appreciate any help/suggestion anyone may have on how to set this up. Thanks. Dan Lau ...!hplabs!intelca!danl
