}An emphatic NO is appropriate here. You can guess by using past experience tho.

}220 to 250 kilobytes/sec. rates an interleave of 2 on an AT type controller.
}160 to 190 kilobytes/sec. rates an interleave of 3 on ditto,
}130 to 150 kbps is a 4:1. These three are the most commonly used numbers.

Try these two small programs to determine interleave.  SPINTIME.COM determines
how close to 3600 rpm the disk is spinning, and (if the rate comes up close
to 3600) SPINTEST.COM tells you the interleave.  If the rate from SPINTIME.COM
is not close to 3600, the results from SPINTEST will be garbage.
