Specially if the copy of COMMAND.COM does not have the .COM extension. etc. But how about the two hidden DOS files (IBMBIO.COM & IBMDOS.COM) ? Shouldn't you protect these files too ? My opinion is YES. That would make things a little less simple but still possible without to much trouble.
