You might try taking the dealer to your local court of petty claims, or
whatever it's called around there.  When I inquired here in Colorado
about that, they said hearing costs were $17 or so (about 1982).  Here,
they handle cases up to about $1000 requested damages/replacement, I
believe. Inquire at the County Courthouse, or City Hall.
