Some people here are trying to repair internal (MacPlus) 800K drives
by replacing them with new external drives. While I have not verified
this, they tell me that the external drive does not work by simply
connecting it.

I remember seeing some information on this somewhere, but I can't locate
it. The note said that two wires should be cut (if I remember correctly).
