Lines: 21 Summary: VersaTerm not as good as Red Ryder? A couple of weeks months ago there was a discussion comparing Red Ryder 10.x and VersaTerm + or Pro. Based on the discussion and reviews in MacUser I got VersaTerm Pro because of its graphics ability. Only one problem, a BIG problem! Unless I'm mistaken, VersaTerm doesn't support scripts! The prompting command only looks for one character prompts not strings. The way the "macros" are written and set up are not as easilly understood as RR 9.4 or 10.x. Am I missing something here? Or is it true? Is VersaTerm a better terminal program, but RR 10.x a better program for scripting in? Comments would be greatly appreciated! If you would send me email then I will summarize it to the net later. Thanks in advance! tektronix!reed! omen !bucket!martyl (Marty Lee) \ / percival
