I'm in exactly the same situation as you. What I've learned so far is that the Mac 286 by AST is the only thing out there as far as hardware is concerned. It is expensive in Canada: $2495 list for two boards! We can buy a whole AT clone with a hard disk for that price. I've seen the Mac286 listed for around $1050 US, that's around $1400 Canadian, so as usual our Canadian dealers are overpricing a product. I've heard that most software runs okay, except that screen update is slower that one would perhaps like. I read this in a review.
