First, the volume would be outrageously large - stacks aren't small. Second, the limited applicability of this to the needs of the net as a whole. While there are a lot of Mac owners on Usenet, there are also many, many more who do not own Macs, or do not own Macs on which Hypercard is usable. There are many public-access systems out there, from BBS's to places like SIMTEL (although I don't think that they do Macs). Upload and download 'em to your heart's content, but don't send them over our airwaves. (modemwaves? etherwaves? whatever) If you take this as a condemnation of binary groups in general, you're probably right. -- Michael J.
