Hey NSC, Don't ignore hardware hackers. They can be your one of your best sources of testimonials when it comes to designing chips in. Guess how many people out there cut their teeth on 8 bitters. I still remember the 6809 fondly, it has, in my opinion, a great instruction set for an 8 bit micro. Some of this goodwill carried over to the 68k chips. Think how many U* hackers met and wooed U* at college. I wish there was a decent U* box for around 2k. I dread the idea of buying a PC motherboard but that looks like the only economically viable path now. Ken
