Cindy,
	You'll probably get more authoritative word from someone else,
but my belief is that the LA-50 is a C-Itoh printer in DEC's clothing,
and that the "prowriter" driver included with Painter's Apprentice
works beautifully with my [excuse the expression] Apple printer, which
is also a C-Itoh parallel printer.  So in my opinion, the answer is YES,
it'll probably work with your printer.
