Lines: 12 Keywords: alpha lock NCR 7901 terminal At one of the sites I work at, they have about a dozen NCR 7901 terminals connected to an NCR Tower. One irratating thing about the terminals is that when you first power them on, they come up in Alpha Lock (caps lock) mode. Since the computer runs Unix, and Unix doesn't like capital letters very much, you can see their predicament. I've looked through the manual, and there is no mention that this is a special feature of the terminal, or that how to disable. If anyone could provide me with some assistance with this problem, I would be greatly appreciative. Jeff White Drexel University - ECE Dept. rutgers!bpa!drexel!jeff
