I've been looking at 24 pin printers when I noticed that HP has a new ink-jet printer (Deskjet) that runs Level III of HP's PCL printer language. The stock printer comes with only 16K of memory (you can buy up to 256K). HP's list price: $995.00. 1. Is there a TeX driver for PCL, Level III? 2. How much printer memory would it take to make the thing work? Optional: 3. What do you think of ink-jet printers? -- John Campbell ...!arizona!naucse!jdc unix?
