Has anyone tried to replace the TCP routines in Ultrix 2.2 with the routines
from Berkeley, in particular the TCP routines from Johnson and Karels
that are available from ucbarpa.berkeley.edu?  Well I did and after
some fiddling I had a running kernel but the 4.7.3 nameserver no longer
works.  named dies because ioctl returns with "Operation not supported"
when called with a function of SIOCGIFADDR.

Have I been lucky so far to have a running kernel and have not encountered
other problems?  Mail to and from the Internet is working, so is FTP
and all the "r" commands (rlogin, rcp, etc).
