Message-ID: <609@acornrc.UUCP> Date: 19 Feb 88 07:02:30 GMT Organization: Olivetti Research Center, Menlo Park Lines: 23 Running X11 on a Sun, I want to have an "xterm" entry in a uwm menu. I could say Xterm: !"xterm &" but I'm not happy with the icon label. What I want for an icon label is something like " Foo ", where Foo is the name of the local host. Note the spaces before and after the name (otherwise it's still ugly). I have the host name in $HOST, but I can't figure out the properly quoted incantation to get the surrounding spaces. Can someone please tell me the correct incantation? thanks, Mike Kupfer Olivetti Research Center 415-496-6238 orc!kupfer@unix.sri.com kupfer@orc.olivetti.com {decwrl!acornrc, ames!acornrc, oliveb}!orc!kupfer ucbvax!kupfer -- Mike Kupfer Olivetti Research Center 415-496-6238 orc!kupfer@unix.sri.com kupfer@orc.olivetti.com {decwrl!acornrc, ames!acornrc, oliveb}!orc!kupfer ucbvax!kupfer
