I'm am poorly trying to create an image processing library, using
XLib V10, and I cannot come up with any solution to initialize the color-map.
Could anyone provide me the source listing of a demonstration program (such as
xdemo shades) using the following features :

	. Creating read/write color-maps
	. Setting a scale of grey levels in the color map

I've been trying to call XGetColorCells() but this routine always returns a 
zero status, although no XErrorEvent is generated. Why ? 

I'm working on a microVAX GPX II, and the only documentation I got with Xlib
is "Xlib - C Interface manual". Does someone know about any other
documentation ?
