Your data appears to be inaccurate.  There are a minimum of four sites
in our local area which receive at least alt.sources, do not block the
sendsys message, and who's mailpaths are functional.  None of these sites
(including mcmi) appear in your listings.

What newsgroup was the sendsys attached to?
