Actually, there's another flaw: "the size of the alt 'network'" (by some
definition) isn't necessarily the same as "the percentage of the network
getting alt.sources". We (and I believe many other in Europe) belong to
the latter group, but maybe not the former (depending on the definition).

And no, we didn't get the sendsys message, and no, I don't know the 
definition (i.e. what group the sendsys was sent in - alt.config.ctl?).
