On Januray 16 or 17 I submitted a request to news.groups and various
soc.culture.** groups to sollicit votes on my proposal to create a
news group as soc.culture.arabic, to be dedicated to cultural and
technological issues (vs. political or religious issues in talk.mideast
and talk.religion) I have collected more than 100 yes votes and one no
vote.
(I have stopped collecting the votes on 
February 12 after we exceeded this rule of thumb limit).
 I have informed Gene Spafford and Mark Horton of the results.
Could you someone advise on what to do next.
