   Not an unusual situation: companies often make the long-term
mistake of trying to be like Caesar's wife and be above
controversy.  This was OK for an appendage of an emperor, but
amounts to living in a dreamworld...

  If a person, male, female or corporate, actually expects to **do**
anything in the observable world, controversy will follow.

   Statistically, every company above X employees has a manager or
lawyer who will wimp out at the very mention of the CIA (US) or CSIS
(Canada).
