Worth Texas. I think it was called ORBUS or something like that. This one didn't use radar, it timed the car with pressure plates in the road. The car drives over the first one, a stop watch starts, the car drives over the second one, the stop watch stops and if you crossed by the two plates too fast it took you're picture. I heard some good rumors about how some people got it removed. Like I said rumors, so I don't know if it is true or not (anyone know for sure??). Rumor 1. At night someone would drive by the ROBOCOP below the speed limit and shoot it couple of times with a shotgun. This would be repeated every time the city would fix it. Rumor 2. Some married guy sued the city after his wife opened the mail and found a picture of him and his girlfriend "playing" together as they sped by the ROBOCOP. The city sent out a copy of the picture to person they were giving a ticket to. This picture shows the driver, the time, the plates on the car and the speed they were doing.
