I am finally getting around to building a bunch of
your off-hook indictors from the circuit you posted
in Sept 1987.

I am wondering if there has been any further information
such as resistors values and the zener voltage.

Did you ever try it out yourself, like you suggested in your
article?  If you have, I would like to speak with you.
