  From what I read the OPS5+ student version is licensed for
educational purposes only and do not include the full complement
of features the expensive versions have.

The price for a full standard PC version is $1800. And 
there is a Deluxe PC Development version for $2700 (I guess this
one comes with automatic transmission -)*).

Also one can trade his student version for
either a Standard or a Deluxe versions.
