Our new release of the Informix distribution (sorry, don't know the
version number) has the inconvenience that, when invoking isql(1)
from a directory for which the parent directory has
access mode rwxr-x---, it complains with the message: "pwd: cannot stat ..".
It seems to be a system("pwd")-like call fromout isql(1) et. al., but since
isql(1) is a setgid on execution (informix) program, its obvious that it
cannot stat ... I think this is a (design) bug. Is there a way to come around
this problem? Please let me know.
