As a research group at Newcastle University England, investigating the monitoring and management aspects of our prospective campus network (ethernet backbone). We would like to hear from other universities / sites on the following in particular:

a) Internetworking using Bridge Links via Backbone.

b) Information regarding Network Monitering and Management methods in use.

c) synopses of users of the network - equiptment/software/loading.

d) problems eg bottlenecks in the Network.

We would be interested to hear from users of any large campus - not specifically using ethernet.
