Nope.  ~$700 was right on the ball.  Even ~$800 right off
the bat would have been OK.  The point is that 2 months
after I bought the modem they were shipping V4.00 EPROMS
for *free* in new modems, but they were *selling* 4.00 EPROMS
for old modems with the usual 500% markup (two 27512's == $20).
