It seems to me that the new Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) developed by Compuserve is now all the rage in computer land. But for the life of me no-one will tell me what it is!!!! I assume what's happening is that everyone but me knows and assumes some one else will tell me. IT'S JUST NOT GOING TO HAPPEN... PLEASE, I BEG YOU, LET ME IN ON THE SECRET. I don't have access to cozmpuserve and cannot ask directly from the source. I tried calling and was offered a program to encode and decode GIF but no help on the format. I'd rather have a hundred answers than none. Thanks in advance, ------ PLEASE ------- PLEASE ------- I HATE TO BEG ----- PLEASE --- Ben Herman university of chicago Hospitals.
