Hartford, CT Lines: 19 Keywords: Raster Scanning I am interested in hearing from anyone who has had experience with some of the commercially available raster editing packages. The packages I have in mind are from Impell, Formtek and Optigraphics. I am interested in any opinions you might have about any of these packages you may have used. I am mainly interested in those who might have used the packages for modifying engineering drawings, but I would appreciate any input. I realize that Formtek and Impell both run on SUN platforms, and that Optigraphics sells their own workstations/scanners. In addition, I am interested in scanning engineering drawings and aperture cards into these systems. Has anyone out there used a Versatec Acris (sp?) scanner? If so, how is the quality of the raster images it creates? Thanks in advance. Please mail your responses directly to me, unless you think a general posting would be of interest to more people.
