I believe that PageMaker can generate PostScript as does Write in MS-DOS. There exists also a package "mfps" which translates GEM metafiles to PostScript (even encapsulated PostScript). Somebody at unido (University of Dortmund) on BITNET developed a TeX macro called psfig which takes an encapsulated (or not) 1 page PostScript file) and inserts the proper TeX \special command. I hope that this helps some. Ralph P.
