I will be looking into performance issues of Prolog systems and need
some direction as to where to start.  Also, benchmarks for various
application areas will be attempted.

If anyone has done any work in this area then I would be interested
in hearing any advice you might have.  If you are not necessarily
doing any work yourself but know of literature and/or current efforts
in this area (no matter how small) then references will be
appreciated.
