This seems to not be related to the particular statement, since adding one anywhere seems to cause this problem. We are running v1.2 (created from v1.1 by applying the official diffs). We are running on IBM PC/AT's with 5Mb of the hard disk dedicated to minix. The root file system is set up to load from another partition on the hard disk.
