  The main source of this problem at our site is EDT.  It seems that
EDT loses a disk block every time it is invoked/exited, probably
because of the way it keeps its temporary files.  The header block
of its temporary file is never released; since it doesn't appear in
any directory, ANALYZE/DISK must be used to fix it.  I think this is a
problem in RMS someplace.
