I suppose if I could get a VS2000 with one-year on-site for $3K I might think a little differently also. As it stands I believe the last thing DEC ever offered around here was 5% or some such if we promised to do volume business, or maybe it was 5% but a little more if we did volume, I forget, I guess the laughter was too loud in the room. Things like that can really change one's view of what competitive price performance really means, no? I think we're more typical and Harvard has some sort of sweetheart deal (hey, good for them) that can't really be factored into the rest of our decisions. -Barry Shein, Boston University
