Here is a strange one for you.  (At least I find it strange.) The Seagate
ST251N (SCSI) drive has the following statistics:

    sectors per track     26
    data surfaces          4
    sectors per cylinder 103

Now 4 times 26 equals 104 so where does that extra sector go?  Are they
using it for something special?
