Here's a blast from the past.  I'm beginning research for a project which
involves supporting HPIB on Data General's System V implementation, DG/UX.
I need your help in gathering any and all available information on the
IEEE-488 standard (a.k.a. HPIB, GPIB).

Books, papers, comments, info about existing PD or commercial packages, names,
addresses, and general discussions about this subject are welcome.

Please reply via E-mail *only*.  If there is sufficient interest, I will
summarize for the net, and given permission to do so, I will publish the
research results on the net.
