Summary: AVAIALABILITY OF UPGRADES??

Since I dutifully sent in my warranty card when I bought my 5-1/4 "
drive and Transformer software a couple of years ago, does this
imply that some ugrade (not free of charge, of course) will be
offered for the WB 1.2 version of transformer?

Might I just as well bag that thought and just up and buy the new
version at my friendly local dealer?
