     Please, next time read the context before replying.   The original
posting of BAD was in the context of a "squeeze" posting for the Amiga,
a program to intelligently reorganize directory tracks for faster access.
Also, if you had checked the ORIGINAL message, you would see that I did NOT
write the program....I merely posted it in UUEncoded form for the
person requesting it.  If that is advertising hype, then I am a brass monkey.
I had to repost in SHARed form since I received much Email expressing
interest in the program, and apparently the UUencoded ARC file had
gotten munged in some sites.

     Saying that you "don't do anything in the root directory" is mostly
senseless, especially when you consider the directory pointers and
the AmigaDOS directory structure.   The root directory is just that,
the directory that contains all the other directories.
 
     In addition, in the SHAR there were directions on how to get the
full version.  The program was a DEMO, and if you like what it did for
the root, the obvious context is to send for the full version.
There was never any claim anywhere that the program was anything but a demo 
of a shareware program, and there were no obligations on yourself atall.
If you felt the program is of no use to you, you are a better judge of
that than I.  But, criticism for posting it I feel is uncalled-for.
