There's too much delay while the program writes buffers to disk. I've started using dnet for file transfers. Despite it's multiplxing overhead, it's windowed protocol along with no waiting for disks makes for much faster transfers. I'd like to see the emulation closer to perfect. I'd like to be able to play with the special attributes. For example, I'd like to specify the color of underlining and highlighting. I'd like to see the script routine rewritten as a state machine. Failing that, I'd like to see a multiway branch capability. I'd like an iconize gadget in the title bar. I'd like the "little" vt100 window to indicate activity by showing little bars that represent the lines of text just like X-windows. I'd like fancier menus. Like, selecting a "protocol menu" would pop up a window that would have all the gadgets related to file transfers.
