Lines: 15 Keywords: EXTRA-HALFBRITE MFM-Encoding IBM IFF Music Can anyone tell me how to check if my machine has EXTRA-HALFBRITE mode ? An example program to demonstrate it would be nice (I know about Halfbrite-hill, but don't know anybody in the Uk who has got it yet). In addition, what actually is it ? What can you do with it ? Second question, does anyone know where to get hold of the MFM encoding format for IBM & Compatible disks (3.5 inch) ? Third question, does anyone have any example programs that will take a saved music score from DMCS or Sonix, and actually play the tune ? I would like to avoid figuring out the IFF spec (ok I admit it - I'm a lazy so and so). Please reply by private mail, or post to the net if you think the answers are of general interest.
