Is this a bug?

list [r]* lists all files starting with r.

list [ab]*  says "Directory not found"

Also, list C:xxx  says "Directory not found," if xxx doesn't exist.  At
fist this surprised me, because I thought maybe I had zapped my C directory,
but actually, because xxx does't exist, how can list know whether the user
thinks xxx is a file or a directory.  Perhaps "xxx not found" would be a
more informative error messge.

The dir and copy commands have the same problem.
