        I've been trying to alter my ss to spawn a second task, which would
be used to de-arc an arc file loaded into my C directory while my code
libraries are loaded into memory (use a utility called QLOAD).

        My first attempt at this had a few strange problems.

        I'd appreciate suggestions before I hit it again.
