The memory card will only be stocked with 256k - the user may purchase additional memory if more is desired. Since few programs will run in less than 768k - and some are now requiring MORE than 1 meg (new Paintworks Gold needs 1.25 meg), this is at least a start. Also note that several weeklys that I read indicate that memory prices should begin to fall in 2-3 months. Currently here in Columbus I believe that 256k Cas before Ras dynamic memory runs about $95. -- Larry W.
