We have a couple of 3B2/400s hooked up to 630 terminals running layers, and would like to run gnu emacs. Before going out and getting the whole moster at 1200 baud I thought I'd ask if it works under layers first (there being no point otherwise). System V version 3.1. Email to me please. P.S. I've tried microemacs, but it doesn't like layers... I used both full GNU Emacs as well as MicroGNUEmacs on 5620s on VAXen and 3B{2,15}s running V.0, V.2, and V.2.2 with no problem. I don't recall ever experimenting with Lawrence's MicroEMACS. I have it running on V.3.0 3B2/400s now as well, albeit without 5620s/630s. A subtle change or two was necessary for V.3.1; it's been discussed in bug-gnu-emacs. And if you're going to be picking it up from osu-cis, there are 2400bps lines available.
