I have just posted my implementation of PUSHD, POPD and DIRS
to comp.binaries.ibm.pc.  They use a disk-based stack, are
written in Turbo Pascal and compiled with Version 3.0.  You
will probably want to run these programs on an AT or V20'd
XT, since the disk access is not that fast, but I'm working
on a C version which should be considerably faster.
