In an attempt to keep the program size small he only allocated a small buffer (1200 bytes I think) for the help area with a compression scheme which expands the help display when it is asked for. Unfortunately, if you have a full help screen to put into the program (full ==> few spaces) his compression scheme cannot make it fit into his buffer. In the latest beta version of the next release he has expanded the buffer to 1600 bytes. (Personally I have to wonder if the code which expands this is worth the 400 bytes he is still trying to save, but it's his program.) J.
