I am really tired of my computer locking up, seemingly for
no reason.  There seems to be no pattern connected with
these lockups. I can be in the middle of any program...not
even touching the keys. Suddenly I will see a series of
scanlines travelling down the screen (the same thing that
happens when I hit the print screen key, but in that case
does not lock up the computer) and that's it. Reboot time.
I have tried taking out every tsr, so it doesn't seem to be
a combination of programs that's causing this.

Does anyone know what causes these scanlines, and why it's
locking me up?

I would really appreciate some help with this one.
