Eugene OR Lines: 14 Jack Fine reports that a friend can get RedRyder but not HC's address stack to dial for her Hayes modem. This is probably due the fact that RedRyder prefixes the phone number with the proper Hayes modem commands. For example, I use "ATDT"; see your modem's manual for the right commands. HC's address stack does not send model commands. Note that HC's phone stack *will* send modem commands, and that HC's dial command can take account of modem commands. If someone really wants to use their modem from the address stack, they could add the "with modem" keywords and commands to the relevant phone field. This may require minor modification of the script for the phone button. Look at the script of the phone stack for hints. David Novick | voice: (503) 686-4408 Dept. of Computer and Info.
