Lines: 20 I agree that the net is no place for binaries.. While it is nice to have them delivered to my door (so to speak) , If I want software for my Mac,I know where to get it.. The volume of all the binary news groups has really pushed phone bills sky high across the net at large.. If I may make an alternative suggestion, why not start an alternative news distribution for macintosh .. This idea has a precedent.. The unix-pc folks have done so,and it seems to work quite well.This way,sites that are heavily macintosh oriented can get and distribute all the binaries they choose.
