First, this would allow printing changed cards several times a day, and second, it would avoid any problems with different date formats in different countries. In general: If you want your stacks to run internationally, don't rely too much on having a specific date format (e.g. in Denmark the date 3/4 is the third of April while it is the fourth of March in the US).
