Boy, was I dissapointed with Inside Mac Volume V. No multifinder stuff!

Would some enlightened person please post multifinder programming guildlines.
The Resedit bits was informative, but, for example, what is the suspend
and resume events. I have gathered that it is some variation of the
app4evt.
